Rachel Zinn Bio

Paralegal

Rachel Zinn has joined the law firm of Morris, King & Hodge, P.C., as a paralegal, bringing experience with personal injury cases and an educational background in criminal justice, political science, and psychology, on top of a paralegal certificate.

Rachel received her higher education in Alabama, earning her bachelor’s degree at The University of Alabama and her paralegal certificate from Auburn University. She was born in Canada and says she grew up “all over,” including time in Iowa and Tennessee, before moving to Alabama, where she resided in Birmingham and Athens.

When asked what she likes most about her role as a paralegal, Rachel said, “Being able to help people during times of uncertainty and seeing the joy we bring them in the end.”

Regarding what Rachel particularly likes about working at Morris, King & Hodge, P.C., she focused on participation in community activities outside of work, such as Manna House and Toys for Tots. She also cited the positive atmosphere at the firm. “I also like how welcoming and helpful everyone was when I first joined the team,” Rachel said.

Rachel is a “huge sports fan” and roots for Alabama football, the Chicago Bears, and the Toronto Maple Leafs. She also enjoys traveling, and frequent destinations include Navarre Beach in Florida, Guntersville Lake, Birmingham, and Chicago. “If I spend a weekend in Athens, I am usually hanging out at some sort of restaurant downtown watching a football game, hanging out with friends or doing some home renovation projects,” she says.

Rachel has two dogs, Rooney and Alli, and a boyfriend, Hunter.
