Settlement for a family who lost a loved one when a commercial truck hit the back driver’s side of a smaller box truck operated by our client. Our client’s vehicle spun around, struck a guardrail, and rolled down a ditch coming to a final rest after hitting a tree. The box truck was occupied by two clients; the driver and an injured passenger. The driver sustained fatal injuries and the passenger sustained extensive injuries and had to deal with witnessing the death of a parent.
Settlement for a family who lost a child after lifeguards at a public pool became distracted and failed to see the young child enter the water alone and fail to resurface after a few seconds underwater.
